Ingredients

Hot Caramel Sauce

250 gr butter
1 ½ cups sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup cream
Pinch of slat
2 egg yolks

Method

Melt butter and sugar until it looks like honey
Remove from heat and add cream, milk, salt, and beat in yolks
Put back on the heat and bring it to the boil-do not overcook, boil until it looks like thick custard

Makes 1 liter
