CVR Cinnamon Rolls!

The cinnamon rolls that we learned to make in Home Ec. @ CVR :) They're the same as the ones they served in the cafeteria.

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/5 tsp. salt
65 ml shortening
110 ml milk
25 ml brown sugar
3 ml cinnamon
2 tsp butter or margarine

Method

-preheat oven to 200 degrees Celcius
-sift together flour, baking powder and salt
-add milk, stir with a fork to make a soft dough
-turn dough onto a lightly floured board. Knead.
-roll out dough to 1 cm thickness
-spread with butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up to form log.
-cut off pinwheels about 2 cm thick
-bake on ungreased pan 12-15 minutes
