Add the italian spices, garlic, and cheese to the oil to taste (although untill the yolk is added it won't taste much like anything). Grate the Red Pepper over the oil herb mixture to get the red juice and bits of the flesh into the oil for color and flavor. Squeeze a tiny bit of the lemon juice in as well. Just a little sugar should off set the lemon. Add egg yolk to the mixture as an emulsifier, adding just a little at a time and stirring thoughly to check to see if more yolk is needed. The dressing is done when there is minimal settling of the ingredients to the bottom of the container.
