For dry ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ cup cocoa powder
1¼ cups sugar
Chocolate bar weighing about 130 g. cut to 8 pieces
For wet ingredients
125 g. butter, melted and cooled
¾ cup yogurt
1 egg slightly beaten with 1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoon Grand Marnier
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
Place 8 paper cups in 8 muffin holes, or butter and flour 8 muffin tin holes.
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa and salt into a large bowl, mix with sugar.
Mix all wet ingredients.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients in the large bowl and stir with a fork just to mix (do not over mix).
Place about 1 tablespoon of the mixture in each muffin hole and place a piece of chocolate on top.
Cover chocolate piece with more dough (mixture will look lumpy).
Bake in a 175C° (350F°) preheated oven 30 minutes.
Remove muffins from tins, remove paper cups and serve warm.
For decoration, (optional): Sift icing sugar on top just before serving.
