175g penne pasta
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, finely sliced
175g Herta classic frankfurters, chopped
200g cherry tomatoes, halved
3 sundried tomatoes in oil, finely chopped
salt & black pepper
handful fresh basil leaves, roughly torn
Cook the pasta according to pack instructions.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a medium pan. Add the onion and frankfurter pieces and saute until the onion is golden. Add the cherry tomatoes and the sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
Drain the cooked pasta and mix it well into the tomato mixture together with plenty of fresh basil.
Serve with a fresh green salad.
