Taco Soup

Quick and easy soup

1lb lean ground beef
1 envelope taco seasoning mix (I used Williams)
1 onion, chopped
1 16 oz can pinto beans, undrained
1 16 oz can kidney beans, undrained
1 16 oz can golden hominy, undrained
1 17 oz can cream style corn
1 14 oz can diced stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles, undrained (Rotel)
1 envelope ranch-style dressing mix
totilla chips
1 C shredded cheddar cheese


In Dutch oven, brown ground beef and chopped onion; drain.
Add taco seaoning, mix thoroughly. Add cans of beans, hominy, corn & tomatoes.
Stir in the ranch dressing mix. Simmer over low heat until bubbly.
Serve over tortilla chips and top with shredded cheese
