1 pt white sandwich bread

The slices are quite skinny but are perfect for making sandwiches! I cut down the fat in this recipe by using applesauce instead of margarine, which helps the points stay low. The original recipe is from the booklette that came with the package.

Serves: 25
Difficulty: Easy - for beginners

Ingredients

3/4 c water
1 T margarine
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
2 T sugar
2 3/4 cups flour +2 T
1/2 tsp yeast

Method

put in the breadmachine in order listed. Choose "sandwich" and "2 lb loaf".

25 oz per loaf, 1 oz= 1 pt, 2 oz = 2pt, etc.
