Pineapple Custard

Good as a topping for waffles, cake filling or on its own.

Ingredients

1/2 c white sugar
1/4 c flour
1 egg
pinch salt
appx. 3/4 c crushed pineapple with juice
1 tbsp butter

Method

Stir ingredients (except butter) together and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens. Stir in butter and remove from heat.
