Honey Mustard Chicken

The sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The flavors blend well with rice pilaf or wild rice.

Ingredients

1 20 oz can pineapple slices in juice
4 chicken breasts
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
For Sauce:
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup each honey and Dijon or Spicy mustard

Method

1. Drain pineapple; save juice. Prepare sauce.
2. Sprinkle chicken with thyme, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Brown in hot oil until cooked through. Remove
3. Combine 2 Tbs juice with cornstarch, honey, and mustard. Stir into skillet with remaining juice. Cook, stirring until sauce boils and thickens.
4. Add chicken; spoon sauce over chicken. Add pineapple to warm
