Key Lime Pie

This is SUPER RICH! I found this on Allrecipes... Had to make it my own due to the lack of key limes. This is perfect since my daughter is allergic to eggs...

Ingredients

1 - 9 inch pie crust (graham or pastry)
2 Cans (almost 3 cups) of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup plus a couple of TBSP of sour cream
3/4 cup of key lime juice OR 3/4 cup - half Persian lime juice and half lemon juice

(Optional):
1 TBSP of grated lime zest OR 1/2 TBSP Lime zest and 1/2 TBSP lemon zest

Method

1- Follow instructions for pie crust before filling.

2- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
3- In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and pour into pie crust.
4- Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until tiny pinhole bubbles burst on the surface of pie. Do not brown. Chill pie thoroughly before serving. Garnish with lime slices and whipped cream if desired.
