Peel and seed the chiles and then cut into strips. Pour vodka into a clean mason jar and add chiles. Seal tightly and place in a cool dark location for two weeks. Give the jar a gentle shake every couple of days.
Optionally, roast the chiles over fire, or under broiler until the skin chars and bubbles. Then, place in a bowl and cover tightly to allow peppers to steam. Afterwards, remove the peels and see. Give a light dice and use to infuse vodka.
Also, for more heat, add the seeds to the vodka, too.
