Pumpkin Pie Bars

Ingredients

Base:
1/4 cup Butter or marg
1/3 cup Packed brown sugar
--------------------------------------- Beat marg and sugar until creamy
1 cup Flour
pinch of salt
--------------------------------------- Add flour and salt and stir until crumbly
--------------------------------------- Press into greesed 8x8 pan
--------------------------------------- Bake 10-12 min until pale gold around the edges

Filling
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 1/4 Cups Canned Pumpkin
2 tbsp Packed Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
pinch Ground CLoves
pinch Salt

Method

Pre-heat oven to 350
Base:
1/4 cup Butter or marg
1/3 cup Packed brown sugar
1 cup Flour
pinch of salt

Filling
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 1/4 Cups Canned Pumpkin
2 tbsp Packed Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
pinch Ground CLoves
pinch Salt
------------------------------------------ Mix until smooth, pour over base

Bake for 1 h until slightly puffed and set.
Cool on wire rack - store extras in fridge.
