3-4 Tbsp butter
4 celery sticks, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
3 Tbsp all purpose flour
3 cups milk
1 cup whipping cream
2 cans cream style corn (14 3/4 oz cans)
1 1/3 cup French's Fried Onions
2 cups diced cooked chicken
2 small cans chopped green chilies (about 4 Tbsp)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Melt butter in a pot over meduom high heat. Saute celery, bell pepper and onion for 3-5 min. or until crisp tender.
Blend in flour and cook for 1 min. stirring constantly.
Gradually stir in milk, whipping cream, and corn. Reduce geat; simmer for 4 min. until thickened.
Add French's Fried onions, chicken, and chilies. Cook until heated through.
Garnish bowls with additional French's Fried onions and cheddar cheese.
