Destiny's Banana Spice Bread (moist and yummy)

Submitted by: Destiny Leonzal
Great recipe for banana bread, I do not like nuts or raisins in my bread but they can be added. Turns out moist but not heavy and is pretty simple. You can leave out any spice you are missing and it's still good, they just give it that something extra.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs, beaten
2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas (about 4)

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix 1st set of ingredients in one bowl (dry), then melt butter and add brown sugar and vanilla in 2nd bowl. Combine the 2 and add beaten eggs to the mix. Last thing add the mashed bananas and STIR AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE, (just enough to moisten),to mix them in.

Toss the whole thing into lightly greased pan and bake until toothpick or fork comes out clean... about 60-70 minutes.
