Grandma Hannah's Hotdish

Submitted by: Tami Merry
This is a very basic hot dish my grandmother and my parents always made when they needed something quick, easy and plentiful. We always called it our favorite hot dish.

Serves: Lots
Difficulty: Easy - for beginners

Preparation time:
Cooking time:

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef, browned and broken into little pieces
1 to 1 1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
2 cans creamed corn
1 can whole kernel corn
2 cans tomato soup
Velveeta or American cheese slices to cover top

Method

Brown the ground beef and drain. Cook noodles until tender. Drain. Mix all ingredients except cheese and place in a casserole dish. Heat well in the microwave or a moderate oven until completely heated through. Top with cheese and continue to cook either in the microwave or the oven until cheese is melted.
