2/3 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 2/3 cups sugar
4 LAND O LAKES® All-Natural Eggs
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, melted
1/3 cup whipping cream or milk
Instructions for Cake:
Heat oven to 350°F.
Grease and flour 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.
Combine 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup whipping cream in 1-quart saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted (6 to 7 minutes).
Combine sugar and eggs in large bowl.
Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
Add melted butter mixture, flour, baking powder and salt.
Continue beating until well mixed.
Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Instructions for Frosting:
Stir together all frosting ingredients in small bowl until well mixed.
Spread over warm cake.
Broil 2 to 4 inches from heat until bubbly all over (2 to 4 minutes).
Cool 15 minutes.
Serve cake warm or cool.
