2 lbs chicken and garlic sausage links
10 oz no-yolk egg noodles
2 T unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1/2 C chicken stock or low-sodium, fat-free chicken broth, heated
1/4 C chopped fresh chives
1/4 C toasted pine nutes
3/4 t salt
1/4 t black pepper
1. Prepare a medium fire on a grill. Grill the sausage, turning every 4 to 5 minutes, until cooked through, about 10 to 15 minutes total depending on the sausage diameter.
2. Cook the noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until tender, 10 to 12 minutes. Drain in a colander and immediately toss with the remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
