Timesaver Beef and Tomato

Cooking time:


2 cups uncooked rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


1. Cook pasta according to package directions without salt, drain, set aside
2. Brown ground beef, mushrooms, and onion on medium-high heat in large skillet. Stir in mixture of soup, water, oregano, and garlic powder. Heat to a boil, stirring often. Add cooked pasta, reduce heat to low.
3. Simmer covered, until mixture is heated through-about 5 minute. Top with cheese and sprinkle with chopped herbs or cracked blac pepper, if desired.
