Salisbury Steak

Ingredients

Beef Mixture
ground beef or venison burger :)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 large egg, beaten
1/2 package Lipton Onion soup mix
2 TBSP. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs

Gravy
2 TBSP butter
1 medium onion, chopped
1 large can cream of mushroom soup
remaining 1/2 package onion soup mix
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2-4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. black pepper
1/4 c. milk to thin if necessary

Method

In mixing bowl combine beef mixture, shape into patties. In a large non-stick pan or electric skillet brown patties 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside. In same pan saute onion in butter 3 minutes. Add remaining gravy ingredients and bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low. Add patties back to pan, turning to coat with gravy. Cover and simmer until patties are not longer pink in the middle. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
