German Style Cube Steaks

Ingredients

4 Cube Steaks
1Tbsp Butter
1 small Red Onion, diced
1 1oz envelope Brown Gravy Powder
1 Tbsp Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp Brown sugar

Method

Melt butter in skillet. Add steaks and diced onions. Brown steaks on both sides. While steaks are browning, mix gravy according to the pakage directions. Add vinegar and sugar to the gravy. Pour gravy over steaks and simmer 20-30 minutes until tender.

**I like to double the gravy ingredients to serve over mashed potatoes or buttered egg noodles**
