1 1/3 cups Flour
3/4 cup baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 2/3 cups chocolate and caramel swirled chips, divided
1 cup chopped pecans, divided
caramel sauce or ice cream topping
vanilla ice cream (optional)
PREHEAT oven to 325*F. grease 13x9-inch baking pan
COMBINE flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. set aside.
BEAT sugar, butter and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until creamy. add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.
GRADUALLY beat in flour mixture. stir in 3/4 cup chips and 1/2 cup nuts. spread mixture into pan. sprinkle remaining chips and nuts on top.
BAKE for 25-30 min. cool completely in pan. drizzle with caramel sauce before or after cutting. serve with ice cream.
