Mushroom & Spinach Cob

A fantastic dip, cooked inside a hollowed out loaf of bread

Ingredients

30g butter
1 tbsp oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
125g mushrooms, finely sliced
1 cup spinach
300mL sour cream
1 cup grated cheese
1 cottage loaf

Method

Fry onion and garlic in mixture of oil and butter

Add mushrooms and cook until wilted

Allow ingredients to cool before adding sour cream and half the cheese.

Cut the top off the cob loaf and hollow out the inside of the bread. Fill bread with mixture and sprinkle the top with cheese.

Bake at 180C for 5-10 mins until the cheese ontop has melted.

Remove from oven and serve with bread.
