1 Tablespoon Oil, 2 Medium Red Onions - Sliced in to strips, 1 tsp. Oregano, 2 cloves Garlic - Minced, 1 medium Tomato - Cut in to wedges, 1/2 lb. Sirloin Steak - cut in to thin strips, 4 medium Potatoes - cut in to French Fries (or you can use frozen fries if you are a lazy ass), 2 Tablespoons Rocoto (Peruvian red hot pepper) OR any hot pepper that you can get
Fry french fries then set aside to add to dish later
Season steak strips with salt and pepper
Heat oil in pan and saute garlic
Place steak strips in the pan, add rocoto(or whatever pepper you chose), cook until brown, stirring occasionally
When steak strips are cooked, add onions, tomato, and oregano. Stir.
Add fries, cover and let saute for approx. 5-7 min. DO NOT OVERCOOK. You don't want your vegetables to be too soft.
Serve over white rice & enjoy.
