Tasty Vegetarian Patties

Ingredients

2 eggs
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cloves crushed garlic
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 grated carrot
2 tbs brewers yeast flakes
4 tbs. ground flax
1 tbs Mrs. Dash spice
1 tbs chicken soup base
2 tbs heavy cream
1/2 cup quick oats
dash of soya sauce

Method

Mix all ingredients together in a medium sized bowl. Refrigerate for approximately 15 minutes. Fry the patties with a bit of oil until browned on both sides. Eat! Feel free to crazy add or substitute stuff, like cooked rice instead of oats, milk instead of cream, mushrooms, grated cheese, fresh herbs, nuts and so on.
My grandma is a fantastic patty maker and when I asked her for her recipe she just laughed and said she doesn't follow one. She just throws together whatever she's got on hand in her kitchen. So that's what I usually do too, and sometimes it's hit or miss, but these ones were so good tonight I thought I better write down the recipe:)
