Pumpkin Bread

Better than the pumpkin bread at GU's campus!

Serves: 5 loaves

Ingredients

9 c flour
2 T soda
2 T cinnamon
1 T salt
6 c sugar
2 T ground cloves
2 T nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 29-oz. cans pumpkin
9 eggs
2 c vegetable oil

Method

Combine WELL all dry ingredients in LARGE bowl.
Combine wet ingredients.
Slowly add wet to dry. Mix well.
Pour into greased pans, bake 1 hour.
Cool 10 minutes (at least) before removing from pans (or else loaf will stick to pan).
Move on wire racks to cool to serving temperature.
