Hummus Spread

A fun and easy way to create a healthy spread for crackers or vegetables

¼ cup of cans cooked chick peas
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of lemon or lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste


1. Place all ingredients into a ziplock bag.
2. Have the child now squish the chickpeas and mix the ingredients together.
3. Once all mixed together then place contents of bag into a bowl and spread on to bread or crackers, also can be used for a dip with fresh vegetables.
