Pesto Butter

1/2 cup firmly packed fresh basil leaves
1/4 cub grated Parmesan cheese
2 T pine nuts or walnuts
1 T olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced


Combine ingredients in a food processor. Cover and process until a paste forms. Stir mixture into 1/4 cup softened margarine or butter. Cover and refrigerate until needed.
