1 c sugar
3/4 c real unsalted butter, softened
1/4 t salt
3 sq unsweetened baking chocolate, melted & cooled
1 1/2 t vanilla
pre-baked pie shell
garnish: whipping cream and chocolate curls.
In small bowl, cream butter, sugar and salt, 4 min until fluffy. Add cooled chocolate and vanilla. Blend well. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating on medium, scraping bowl sides constantly. Turn into pie shell and chill several hours, or over night. For a fluffier pie, fold in beaten whip cream. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
