Mushroom cup appetizers

My mother in law makes these every Christmas - they are a huge hit!

2-3 loaves of whole wheat bread
2 pkgs of cream cheese, softened
1 egg
3 egg yolks
1/4 cup margarine or butter
6 cloves of garlic minced
1 lb of mushrooms, diced very fine


Cut each slice of bread with a cup or cookie cutter and shape into muffin tins. Bake at 350 until lightly browned. Combine remaining ingredients and fill bread cups. Bake an additional 15 - 20 minutes. These can be easily frozen and reheated in the oven.
