Tasty Meat Pie

sometime less is best

Ingredients

1 lb pork
1/2 lb veal
1/3 c. onion
salt and pepper to taste
pinch or 2 of cinnamon and clove or ( to taste)
1/4 c. water
pie crust bough in store is good or make your own

Method

cook on top of stove until well done
pour into pie shells
baste your top pie shell with a bit of milk or beaten egg white
bake at 350 until nice and golden

Don't want a soggy bottom, baste inside the pie shell with egg white before adding the meat and cook on lower rack
