Cream margarine with 1 c. sugar and vanilla
Add eggs, one at the time, beating untillight and fluffy,
Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately to creamed mixture, ending with flour.( Batter will be fairly thick) Combine cranberries with remaining 1/4 c. sugar.
Spread half the batter in greased 10" springform pan; sprinkle with cranberries; top with remainning batter.
Coombine topping ingredients, sprinkle over batter.
Bake at 350F for 50 to 55 min.
Serve warm or cool
Helpful Hint;Too little greasing or leaving cakes in pan to long can cause sticking. To prevent sticking, grease pan generously with shortening ( not butter or oil ) and remove cake after 10 min.
