1 lb. butter, softened (no substitutes!)
1/2 c. corn starch
1 c. icing sugar
3 c. flour
Optional: You can decorate them with small chopped pieces of candied fruit, sprinkles, nuts or the like.
Beat all items together until the consistency of whipping cream. Drop from a spoon onto a greased baking sheet. If you're decorating them, add the decorations now. Bake for 15-20 mins. at 325°F (163°C) until almost golden brown (watch them, they can burn easily).
