Tasty Ranch Chicken

YUMMY!! I'm always up for trying new chicken dishes, and this is one of my new favorites.
(This was a NC State Fair winning recipe submitted by Gail Fuller.)

Ingredients

6 Slices bacon
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in thin slices
8 oz. sliced, fresh mushrooms
2 tbsp. flour
1 pkg Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dressing Seasoning Mix
1 1/4 cup milk
5 cups cooked pasta (I used bowties, but it would be really good with fettuccine or even spaghetti.)
1 tbsp. finely shredded Parmesan Cheese

Method

Cut bacon into strips. Cook in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain bacon, and discard all but two tablespoons of drippings. In the same skillet, cook chicken and mushrooms in reserved drippings, turning to brown evenly. After chicken is cooked through, sprinkle flour and ranch mix over chicken and stir well. Stir in milk, and then cook until thickened and bubbly. Let milk cook for one more minute and then stir in bacon. Serve mixture with pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
