Butternut Soup

1 kg butternut
½ cup water
3 chicken stock cubes
3 cups milk
fresh cream
sprig of parsley

Method

Boil butternut, chicken stock cubes
and water until butternut is soft and
soggy and there is virtually no
water in pot.
Liquidize the butternut with the milk,
here it will depend on how thick you
like your soup. You can decide how
much milk to add.
Re-heat.
Serve and decorate for presentation
with fresh cream and a little parsley.

You can REPLACE the BUTTERNUT with
BROCCOLI, PUMPKIN, CAULIFLOWER etc
you choose what you want to try. Mushrooms, however
will not work with this recipe.
