Chickpea Curry

Ingredients

°2 chopped onions
°4 cloves of garlic
°1 tablespoon of oil
°1 teaspoon of chilipowder
°1 teaspoon of turmeric (kurkuma)
°1 teaspoon of paprika powder
°1 tablespoon of cumin
°1 tablespoon of coriander
°2 cans of chickpeas (440grs)
°1 can of chopped tomatoes (440grs)
°1 teaspoon of garam masala


Method

-Fry onions in oil.
-Add chilipowder, salt, turmeric, paprika powder, cumin and coriander. Fry for 1 minute.
-Add chickpeas and tomatoes.
-Cover the whole lot and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Stir from time to time. Add garam masala and keep it simmering for another 10 minutes.
-This dish is especially happy when eaten with naan bread!
