Sift flour into bowl, add egg and water
and whisk until smooth.
Cover and leave to stand for 1 hour
Place banana halves in a shallow dish
spoon over combined orange and lemon
juice and sugar.
Leave to stand for 30 min
Drain bananas, pat dry
Coat in batter an deep fry 1 or 2 at a time
in hot oil till golden brown.
Remove with slotted spoon, drain
on kitchen paper, keep warm.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve
at once with ice-cream or on their own.
