Indian inspired turkey burgers. The best burger you'll have in your entire life!

Preparation time:
Cooking time:

~2 lbs ground turkey (one pack)
4 garlic cloves
2 tbsp fresh ground ginger
1 tsp cumin powder
3 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 green (or red) chili, chopped fine
¾ cup frozen peas and carrots mix
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
½ tsp coarse ground black pepper
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
1 bottle of Sam Adams Summer Ale or Winter Lager

Mix all ingredients except beer really well in a bowl. Form patties and set aside. Heat a skillet or wide pot. Add enough beer to cover the bottom, bring to a boil. Add as many turkey burgers as you can, and add more beer. Cook turkey burgers on medium-high heat. If the level of beer drops, add more. Cook burgers about 12 mins on each side (depending on thickness). When the burgers are done or almost done cooking, let the beer reduce to a thick, dark glaze. Cook burgers on both sides in the glaze to darken. Set aside cooked burgers, add more beer and more burgers and cook as above until all burgers are cooked. Serve on New York Kaiser rolls with the usual burger toppings. Accompany with a dry Indian dish (such as Aloo Gobhi) or with fries, chips, or steamed veggies.
