Mongolian Chicken

Ingredients

3 chicken breasts (cut into diagonal strips)
2 onions (cut into wedges)
2 garlic cloves (crushed)
1 tbs sesame seeds

Sauce:
3 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs sesame oil
2 tbs hoisin sauce
60ml sherry
3 tsp corn flour
1 tbs ground ginger

Method

Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan until golden brown (approx 3-4 mins)

Mix together all ingredients for the sauce and set aside

Fry chicken in a little oil for 5 mins

Add onions and garlic and fry for a further 5 mins

Add sauce mixture and simmer for 5 mins (until sauce has thickened)

Serve on rice or noodles and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top
