Prepare the caramel in a pan (water + sugar + a little bit of butter).
When the caramel is ready, add the apples (ea apple cut in 4 pieces) and fry them for some minutes.
Then remove the apples from the pan and add to the caramel left some red wine, some nuts and some chocolate (Belgian chocolate is just perfect).
Let the alcohol evaporate.
Now you have a nice brown sauce. Put it on your apples and serve with some vanilla ice cream.
