Cappacino Tart

Ingredients

Base

Packet of tennis biscuits (or other)
25ml sugar
5ml cinnamon or mixed spice
100ml butter


Filling

15 ml gelatin
50ml cold water
15ml butter
½ cup golden syrup
1 can condensed milk (397gr)
250ml strong black coffee
5ml vanilla essence
3 egg whites whipped

Method

Base

Make a biscuit crust for a tart, by crushing the biscuits and adding the adding the sugar and cinnamon and butter and pressing into a tart tin or dish

Filling

Dissolve gelatin in the cold water
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the syrup & condensed milk, cook for 10 minutes on a low heat until it goes a caramel color, stirring continuously
Add the coffee, essence and gelatin, mix well
Fold in the egg whites
Pour onto base and set in the fridge +- 2 hours
