Fruit and Nut slice

Serves: 20 pieces

Fruit and Nut Slice

125gr butter
15ml syrup
1 ¼ cups flour
5ml baking powder
1 cups coconut
1 cup walnuts or other nuts
1 cup raisins or currants or sultanas or combo
1 cup sugar
1 egg beaten


Melt butter and syrup in saucepan big enough to fit all the ingredients
Add all ingredients and mix well
Press into a greased dish
Bake at 180ºC for 20-25 minutes
Cut into squares and dust with icing sugar
