Simple Carbonara - Method 1

Onion, garlic, bacon, parmesan cheese (cheddar will do if nothing else), egg, mixed herbs (or oregano, basil type herbs), salt and pepper.


Fry the onion and garlic together until soft. Add the chopped bacon and herbs and fry until cooked.

Boil the pasta in water (salt to taste). Beat the eggs together and add grated cheese and seasoning.

Drain the pasta when cooked and combine everything with the pasta. Cook over a medium heat stirring vigorously until the egg is cooked.
