Pineapple Glazed Ham

6 to 9-pound cheap ham with bone in
1 large can pineapple slices (can be in own juice or heavy syrup)
1 large can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
½ teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoon prepared (yellow) mustard


Remove any skin and fat from surface of ham. Attach pineapple slices with toothpicks after you have put ham in cooking bag with 1 tablespoon flour in bag. Pour glaze over ham in the cooking bag and seal and poke holes in top of bag according to directions on large cooking bag. Bake 3 hours at 325ºF.

GLAZE: Mix 2 cups brown sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch and ½ teaspoon salt in saucepan. Stir in large can crushed pineapple (with syrup), 4 tablespoons lemon juice and 2 tablespoons prepared mustard. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute. 3 ½ cups.
