Meatball Stroganoff

This recipe comes from Curves, but is really good! Even my sister liked it.

Serves: 4


1 lb lean ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup chopped onions
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup sour cream


1. Form ground beef into small meatballs. Heat olive oil in skillet and brown meatballs on all sides. Remove and keep warm.

2. Add chopped onions to skillet and cook until tender or until they begin to brown. Add flour and mix well, cook until it begins to brown. Add beef broth, stir well and cook until slightly thickened. Add pepper, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are tender.

3. Stir in sour cream and then the meatballs. Cook until heated through but do not boil.
