Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
1 tbsp butter
4 skinless/boneless chicken breasts
1/4 cup of chicken broth or bouillon
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/4 tsp dried basil
Melt the butter in a large frying pan over MEDIUM heat. Add the chicken and saute until golden brown on both sides, about three minutes per side.
Add the remaining ingredients and cover, reducing heat. Simmer until chicken has "springy" feeling to touch.
Remove chicken and put aside. Increase heat to high and boil the sauce until reduced to about 1/4 cup. Pour over the chicken and serve.
