1 whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces
1/2 c. and 2 Tbsp olive oil
40 peeled garlic cloves
Salt & pepper
Pre-heat oven to 350.
Season chicken with salt & pepper. Toss with 2 Tbsp. olive oil and brown in skillet (oven safe skillet is best; if no oven safe skillet, transfer to a baking dish). Add thyme, olive oil and garlic cloves, cover and bake for 1 1/2 hrs.
