Dry ingredients (1 Tbsp. wheat flour, 1¼ tsp. cinnamon, 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder, ¼ tsp. ginger, ¼ tsp. nutmeg, ¼ tsp. cloves, ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper, ½ c sugar or xylitol)
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
15 oz. pumpkin puree
12 oz. evaporated milk
1 9-inch unbaked chocolate pie crust
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together all dry ingredients and vanilla flavoring.
2. Blend in egg, followed by pumpkin puree and evaporated milk.
3. Pour into chocolate pie crust and bake at 350°F for 50 minutes. Remove and let stand 2 hours. Move to refrigerator for at least 8 hours before cutting and serving.
