Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
8 oz extra lean ground beef or ground turkey
6 oz tomato paste
2 cups water
32 oz chopped raw tomatoes (I used canned tomatoes)
1/4 cup onions
1/4 cup sweet green pepper (I couldn't find a green sweet pepper so I used a yellow one. It worked.)
2 cups cabbage
1/2 tsp salt
1) Brown the meat in a skillet with the peppers and the onions. Drain.
2) Add the tomato paste and the water. Wisk to blend.
3) Add the tomatoes, the salt and the cabbage. Cook until cabbage is tender. (Not very long, like 10 or 15 minutes.)
