Doggy Bones

2 cups All purpose flour
1 cup Cornmeal
1/4 cup Wheat germ
2 tsp Beef bouillon powder
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1 Large egg
1 Tbsp Cooking oil
1 cup Hot Water


Preheat oven to 275oF
-Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Stir.
-Add the egg, cooking oil, and water. Stir well.
-Roll out on a well-floured surface to a 1/2 inch thickness.
-Cut into bone shapes or other shapes and arrange on an ungreased cookie sheet
-Bake on center rack of oven for about 2 hours until dry and very hard.
-Remove and let cool on wire rack
-Let stand overnight to dry thoroughly
-Store in container with lid
Makes 10 big dog bones and 14 puppy bones
