Preheat oven to 190C and grease pudding dish
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Add rind, flour and salt and enough milk to make a batter that is soft but thick
Spoon into greased dish
Then make the sauce...
Mix ingredients in jug and pour over the pudding
Place pudding in oven and bake for 40 minutes
